Respiratory Health Association has been a community lung health leader since 1906. Our mission is to promote healthy lungs and fight lung disease through research, advocacy and education. Today, we address asthma, COPD, lung cancer, tobacco control and air quality.
Our Involvement With Healthy HotSpot
Respiratory Health Association works in suburban Cook County to advance tobacco-free living. We help property owners convert their properties to be 100% smoke-free; support mental health agencies in adopting smoke-free protections and integrating smoking cessation services; and train leaders in Courage to Quit®, our evidence based smoking cessation program.
