American Lung Association
For over 100 years, the American Lung Association has been the leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through education, advocacy and research. We work to prevent lung disease by eliminating tobacco use and improving the air we breathe in order to reduce the burden of lung disease.
Our Involvement With Healthy Hotspot
The American Lung Association in Greater Chicago works in suburban Cook County to advance tobacco-free living. We support places like parks, college campuses and housing to be smoke-free. We also identify and classify smoke-free properties, and promote cessation through Freedom from Smoking and the Illinois Tobacco Quitline.
