Appointed by the president of the Cook County Board of Commissioners, the Lead Prevention Advisory Council (LPAC) is comprised of members with lead-related experience and involvement in Cook County. The LPAC members under the direction of the chairperson are charged with providing advice and recommendations to the president on areas relating to lead poisoning prevention in Cook County.
