SEXUAL HEALTH

gURL A website for young people to get facts about abstinence. No pledges, no preaching, just information and a positive attitude in choosing to be abstinent.

Planned Parenthood (Federation of America, Inc.) National organization that promotes family planning. Offers Classroom Advisory for Teachers and Teenwire website promoting healthy sexuality for young people.

Sexual Information and Education Council of the United States (SEICUS) SIECUS provides information and training opportunities for educators, health professionals, parents, and communities across the country to ensure that people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds receive high quality, comprehensive education about sexuality. SIECUS works to provide parents and educators with the information they need on important issues such as sexuality education, youth development, sexual and reproductive health, puberty, abstinence, relationships, sexual orientation, body image, self-esteem, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS, unintended pregnancy, and more.

SEX, ETC. is a national newsletter by teens for teens, covering sexual health: abstinence, sexual decision making, relationships, contraception, sexually transmitted infections/diseases, pregnancy issues, sexual orientation, substance abuse and sexual violence. Published 3 times a year. Also offers discussion guides for teachers and others youth-serving professionals.
