Public Swimming Facility Program

This program provides inspectional services for public swimming facilities, including swimming pools, certain water slides, lazy rivers, spas, therapy pools, wave pools, located throughout all suburban Cook County. A public swimming facility includes any artificial basin of water installed for recreational use and includes: pools for community use, apartments, condominiums, other groups or associations having 5 or more living units, clubs, churches, schools, institutions, Y.M.C.As, Y.W.C.As, parks, recreational areas, motels, hotels, and commercial establishments. It does not include a pool at a single private residence intended only for the use of the owner and guest. For further information please call telephone # (847) 818-2844.
