CCDPH Job Opportunities
Public Health is a diverse field, offering many opportunities for people with various skills and interests to work together to protect and improve the health of our communities. Thus, it is the policy of the Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) that as a matter of employment for job positions requiring a postsecondary, graduate, and or professional degree that the institution of higher education granting such degree must be accredited. Furthermore, the purpose of this policy is to ensure that a highly skilled, trained public health workforce is employed by CCDPH and that each staff member was provided an education and or training from an institution of higher education which meets acceptable levels of quality.
Note: CCDPH recognizes only degrees in public health (e.g., M.P.H., M.S.P.H., DrPH, ScD., Ph.D.) from CEPH accredited programs.
Thank you for your interest in serving the public as part of our team.
