This introductory training provides two main components: one, an overview of the most critical frameworks and concepts that provide for the foundation for policy, systems and environmental change; and, two, a guided approach to all of the key steps to successful policy development. This includes the “who” – developing and maintaining relationships and coalitions, and the “how” – identifying policy issues, options and prioritizing the best options, developing an advocacy plan, and then supporting implementation and evaluation.
