Save the Date: October 5 - 6, 2018

There is an urgent need to transform the local food system to improve health, support sustainability and ensure food justice.

Join Cook County Department of Public Health, Cook County Health and Hospitals System, and Loyola University Chicago, Health Sciences Division for the 2018 Food Summit on October 5-6 at Loyola University Chicago in Maywood, Illinois. Check the "Documents and Handouts" tab for additional information.

Be inspired by a vision for food system transformation and learn about current investments in the Cook County region and opportunities for policy alignment across sectors, including the Good Food Purchasing Policy (GFPP), recently adopted by Cook County government. Stakeholders will also be engaged in identifying actions for effective implementation of GFPP.
