Feastival Celebration: Nourishing our bodies with food & faith

A day long summit at the Brookfield Zoo of the faith and health community focused on food, faith and obesity prevention, hosted by the Center for Faith and Health Transformation. School-aged kids welcome (it's Columbus Day); there will be youth workshops in addition to adult workshops. All activities will be engaging and experiental. $18 for adults, $9 for kids. lunch and snacks included.

The Feastival Celebration is an interfaith, interactive summit that explores what the wisdom of our religious traditions tells us about food and health.  At The Feastival, participants will inflame passion and inspire action for personal and community health; build relationships and foster collaboration; realize concrete ways to build upon assets and engage in action to improve the health of their communities; increase awareness of how social conditions impact health; explore how to shift the culture around food and our bodies
