The Alliance for Healthy & Active Communities (AHAC) Quarterly Meeting

December 15, 2011 1:00 - 3:00 pm


The Alliance for Healthy & Active Communities (AHAC) next quarterly meeting is being organized by the Active Living Action Team.  Join us in this state of the art center and participate in a panel discussion on Model Communities Complete Streets, Employee/Worksite Wellness Programs, and Enhanced Physical Education in Schools.  Panel guests include leading experts from the Village of Skokie, The Horton Group/Horton Health Initiative, J. Sterling Morton High School, Illinois Public Health Institute, and the Illinois Association for Health Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

WHEN:  Thursday December 15, 2011 from 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.
WHERE:  The Cicero Community Center, 2250 S. 49th Ave. Cicero, IL 60804

Each of the AHAC action teams; Healthy Eating, Active Living, Tobacco Prevention and Control, and Access to Services will share updates.  To learn more about AHAC and how to get involved click here.
