In an effort to address the needs of all users, the Cook County Department of Public Health website has been designed and developed according to the Illinois Web Accessibility Standards (IWAS). IWAS incorporates a combination of the Federal “Section 508” and World Wide Web Consortium accessibility guidelines, creating a standard to provide greater access for citizens with disabilities.
